Greenmount House goes even greener!

Patton has been working with Emerson Energy Consultancy to improve the overall efficiency of our Head Office in Ballymena. An energy efficiency programme was developed during 2011 with the first stage starting early 2012. Patton M&E Co-ordinator Paddy Fitzpatrick says, “With very little investment the business can easily improve the efficiency of the building while driving down associated operating cost”.
Paddy, working with Emerson Energy Consulting, was able to identify alternative lighting solutions resulting in the installation of PIR lighting and low energy fittings. The work also included the installation of waterless urinals, push button taps and water displacement bags to reduce water usage. Additional work is planned to further increase efficiency during 2012
Emerson Energy recently was awarded the contract for the full Mechanical and Ventilation for Tesco’s Magherafelt Store. The project was completed on time and in budget This is yet another example of how Emerson Energy can help their clients to achieve their goals.Hastings Hotels say ‘Yes’ to saving energy with Emerson Energy
Emerson Energy, have been working with the Hastings Hotel group for over two years, during this time they have assisted the hotel group In water saving with the use of Oxygenics water saving shower heads and Taps. With LED lighting and SA Vortex Hand dryers they have reduced energy consumption dramatically and introducing Green Dragon Eco coal and logs to their open fires.
Emerson Energy continue to work closely with the Hotel Group assisting with the Mechanical maintenance of the properties and moving forwards with the energy program.
